Rose Quartz is a quartz variety known for its delicate pink colour, ranging from very pale pink to medium and deeper pink shades. Most rose quartz has a soft translucent appearance caused by microscopic inclusions and is commonly fashioned into beads and cabochons. It is also a recognised fifth wedding-anniversary gemstone. In traditional crystal practices, rose quartz is associated with love, compassion, emotional warmth and harmony. These are traditional symbolic associations rather than scientifically proven effects.
